Thread Lifts -

As we age, our skin rapidly loses its fresh and youthful appearance, and signs of ageing become more and more conspicuous. Besides face and neck areas, sagging buttocks and wrinkly knees and elbows are also a concern for many. If you are troubled by any of these concerns, a thread lift could be the ideal solution for you!

A proven non-surgical method to tighten and rejuvenate sagging skin on the face, jawline and neck, Thread Lift is often used alone or in combination with fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, and laser to significantly improve the results. This procedure is ideal for those who seek an improvement without the expense, downtime and risks associated with invasive facelift surgery.

How’s it done?

After applying a topical numbing cream, the threads are placed under the skin using a needle. The threads are made from Polydioxanone (PDO), the material used in surgery to close wounds. They dissolve over time, stimulating the production of Collagen and Elastin while strengthening and tightening the surrounding tissue.  The skin thus gets a refreshing, firmer and voluminous effect.

The areas treated using Thread Lifts are:

  • Brows
  • Produces fuller cheeks, reduces nasolabial folds
  • Improves jawline definition, gives stronger contour and reduces jowls
  • Reduces sagging, provides definition and a sleeker appearance.

Which areas can be treated with Mono Threads?

  • Cheeks
  • Accordion lines
  • Peri oral
  • Marionettes
  • Nasolabials
  • Jawline
  • Neck

How long do Mono Threads last?

Once the needle is removed, the threads remain in place for up to six months and then dissolve slowly. They start dissolving at approximately 3 months but the collagen stimulation can last up to 12 months. This long-lasting effect is due to improvement of the skin condition due to the stimulation of Collagen and Elastin.

Does it hurt and is there downtime?

A topical numbing cream is used to minimize discomfort during treatment. Bruising is common after this treatment, but swelling is minimal. A little tenderness at the injection site can be expected post treatment.
